With his talent and dedication, Harlan’s star continued to rise. At the age of 28, he achieved the remarkable milestone of being appointed as the executive chef at the renowned China World Hotel in Beijing. Here, he had the privilege of serving some of Asia’s most prominent capitalists and entrepreneurs, earning their admiration and respect. Through his exceptional culinary accomplishments and unwavering commitment to excellence, Harlan’s name became synonymous with culinary innovation and artistry. The esteemed establishment honored him by renaming their signature restaurant as “Harlan’s,” marking the birth of the renowned Harlan Goldstein brand.
